Step by Step Instructions:
Unwrap the maxi pad, taking care not to completely remove the wrapper.
Open the pad and lay it flat. Using a spoon or a clean finger, spread or rub the aloe vera gel all over the pad.
Pour or spray about a teaspoon of witch hazel across the pad, or lay witch hazel pads onto the pad.
Fold the pad back up, wrapping it back in the wrapper or aluminum foil, then place your padsicle's in a big ziplock bag, then place them in the freezer for at least an hour before using.
When you're ready to use one, take it out of the freezer and allow it thaw for a few minutes so that it's not too cold. Then, wear it like you would a regular pad.
Optional tip: You can also place the padsicle inside an adult diaper, which might offer better absorption and comfort—especially if you're experiencing a heavy flow.
Make sure to change it at least every 4 hours.
