I am a Certified Postpartum Doula and Author, currently obtaining my Birth Doula Certification and studying Early Childhood Education and the importance of low-stimulation content for babies and children. Based in Los Angeles, CA, I am passionate about helping new parents navigate the magical years of parenthood and early childhood development.

My journey into this field began after I graduated high school two years early with the goal of earning my Bachelor’s and Master's degrees in Child Psychology. Unfortunately, due to financial limitations, I was unable to pursue that path. I then considered other career options and decided an alternative option that still allowed me to work with little ones was as a Preschool Teacher. However, shortly after turning 16, I was diagnosed with multiple chronic illnesses (POTS, hEDS, Small Fiber Neuropathy, Fibromyalgia, Craniocervical Instability, Brain Fog, among other conditions), and began using a wheelchair part-time due to fatigue and bone pain. Due to the severity of my health, I was unable to attend traditional college.​​

 

During this time, I learned about Postpartum Doulas and was able to obtain my Certification. I then created "A Blissful Baby Doula", where I began to help new parents learn about newborn care, feeding and postpartum recovery, I also authored multiple books. After having multiple families ask me for suggestions of educational videos, I started noticing they were all high-stimulating and I saw the lack of low-stimulating educational content for babies and children, and I knew that needed to change. My passion for early childhood education grew stronger as I saw first hand the need for this type of content. To further my knowledge, I began taking Early Childhood Education classes that I can complete at my own pace, when my health allows.
